School Uniform

Nursery and Reception Children – Children will come to school each day in their PE Kit.

Royal blue sweatshirts or cardigan with school logo          

White T-shirt

Navy or black leggings or jogging bottoms

White or Black Velcro trainers – No laces                                         

 

Year 1 – Year 6 

Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan with school logo

White shirt, blouse or polo top

Dark grey trousers, shorts, skirts or pinafore dresses 

Black school shoes 

Grey, black or white socks or grey tights

Summer term - Blue & white checked or striped dresses

Indoor PE -  White T-shirt (school logo optional), dark blue/black shorts (no cycling shorts).  

Outdoor PE - White T-shirt (school logo optional), dark blue/black shorts  (no cycling shorts), trainers. In cold weather, please provide a warm sweatshirt and jogging trousers in school colours, navy blue or black.

Year 6 - Manor Adventure T-shirt can also be worn for PE lessons. 

 

Forest School - Wellies, PE kit, old school uniform or plain blue/dark coloured t-shirt and jogging trousers or leggings. 

 

  • Open-toe sandals should not be worn.                     
  • Long hair should be tied back, with a plain dark band.. All hair bands should be plain dark colours.
  • Children should not have “extreme” hairstyles.  No shorter than No. 3, no spiking and no hair gel.

·         Jewellery should not be worn to school other than plain small earring studs and/or a plain watch.

For safety reasons, all jewellery (watches and earrings) should be removed for PE/Swimming Lessons.

Pre-loved Uniform
Pre-loved uniform can be ordered from the PTA. 
Please email PTA@thorngrove.herts.sch.uk with your order or speak to Miss Fox or Mrs Baulsom in the school office.
Order forms are also available in the school entrance area.
