Parent Voice

Parental involvement is encouraged from the very beginning of a child's time with us. It is vital that we establish a partnership in order to give the children the very best start to their education.

Parents are encouraged to help in school in a variety of ways that support the teaching and learning of the children eg reading with individuals and small groups, playing maths games, cooking, science activities and accompanying the class on field trips.  Please speak to your child's class teacher if you would like to discuss this.

Each term we hold a parent voice meeting.  These sessions are held by a member of the Senior Leadership Team and provide an opportunity to share, in person, opinions relating to whole school matters. These sessions include discussion between parents/carers and the school regarding the school’s development. Those who cannot attend are welcome to e-mail their opinions to jlilley@thorngrove.herts.sch.uk
